picking books

someone is giving away old books in my house for the second week. last time I found a pile on the bench downstairs and this morning another little pile was on the windowsill on my floor.

it's a bit strange feeling 'cuz it's like the person owned them doesn't need'em anymore, so it's like their's gone or something...  but anyway it's good that people can't just throw the books away, it should be sacred.

so the first time my pick was called 'Paris changeful and eternal' - a compilation of novels about Paris by French classics. mmmm, anticipating!
and today I chose Mayakovsky! yes, I love'im! he's so passionate. it's a book of poems and some drama. though I'm afraid there's only propagandistic stuff...  well, anything by him is worth reading, that's for sure.
